Emmerdale’s Cain Dingle confronts Tom King in dramatic first look clip at tonight’s show

Emmerdale has unveiled the shocking aftermath of Belle Dingle’s daring escape from her abusive husband Tom King following months of torment.

Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) were left aghast as they discovered the holiday cottage in Wales, where Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Tom (James Chase),had been staying, in a state of disarray with blood smeared on the walls.

A flashback episode that aired on Wednesday night (July 24) shed light on the harrowing events that transpired during their getaway, revealing the extent of Tom’s cruelty towards Belle.

From mistreating their dog Piper to constantly belittling Belle, Tom made it abundantly clear that they wouldn’t be returning to Emmerdale after he secured a job at a local veterinary clinic in the secluded Welsh village.

A sneak peek from Thursday’s (July 25) hour-long episode shows a defeated Tom back at the holiday cottage, having failed to locate Belle. He is taken aback when he finds Cain and Charity at the cottage.

An enraged Cain pins Tom against a wall, demanding to know his sister’s whereabouts and appearing ready to follow through on his deadly threat.

As Charity prepares to search upstairs, Tom admits she isn’t there. “She left me”, he confesses. The scene then shifts to Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) hurrying downstairs at Wishing Well upon hearing Belle knocking on the front door, clutching Piper.
