Cheryl has shared a rare snap of her son Bear during their family staycation in Cumbria.
The Girls Aloud star spent a lazy few days with her son – who she shares with Liam Payne – in the sunshine as they made the most of the glorious views in the countryside. The mother-son duo could be seen feeding chickens during their lavish stay before they stepped outside to view the Northern Lights.
The hitmaker could be seen dressed in a white robe as she wrapped a loving arm around her son who pointed up at the sky which turned green and purple. Taking to Instagram, the 41-year-old hitmaker documented their stay with a clip of their activities.

She captioned the post: “There’s really no place like the English countryside when the sun is shining [sun emoji], and as if it couldn’t get any better… the Northern Lights even shone for us too [sparkle emojis]. It really couldn’t have been more perfect [yellow heart emoji].”
The family stayed inside the lavish Country House of Cumbria which describes itself as “a Georgian hall fit for 21st Century Lords and Ladies.” The sprawling stately home’s prices are based around 16 people staying at a time, though Cheryl didn’t reveal how big her holiday party was.
Three nights inside the stunning six-bedroom property will set guests back £5,720, meanwhile seven nights pushes the price up to £6,820. It boasts three acres of garden which is teaming with wildlife.
The modern interior oozes a classy finish befitting of royalty. It didn’t take long before the brunette beauty’s loyal legion of fans showered her with compliments online. One user gushed: “Northern Lights for the Angel of the North.”
Another echoed: “What a magical experience. Glad you enjoyed your time away.” A third echoed: “Looks lush!!! Hope you’ve had a lovely summer.”
Last month, the singer brought her son on stage while she was preparing for a Girls Aloud concert at Sheffield Arena. The youngster was spotted walking on stage hand-in-hand with his loving mum.
Cheryl could be seen wearing a casual pink tracksuit and a baseball cap – a far cry away from her glamorous stagewear. The group decided to reunite on a nationwide arena tour to mark their 20th anniversary and celebrate the life of their late bandmate Sarah Harding.
The blonde bombshell sadly died in 2021 after battling breast cancer for seven years. It comes after Cheryl previously revealed the moment when her son realised both of their parents were famous.
Speaking to British Vogue, she explained the youngster thinks it’s “pretty cool” that his mum and dad are beloved pop stars. When asked if her son would appear on stage at some point during the tour, Cheryl said: “The problem is that I want Bear to have a normal childhood.
“I don’t want people recognising him on the street. But he’s twigged that I’m famous. The other day he said, ‘How lucky am I to have famous parents?’ I said, ‘It doesn’t matter’. He goes, ‘Yeah, but it’s pretty cool’.”
