Holly Valance has slammed climate activist Greta Thunberg and branded Australia “woke”.
The 40-year-old former pop star and Neighbours actress launched a scathing attack on climate activist Greta, branding her a “demonic little gremlin”. Holly made the comments in an interview with GB News’ Chopper’s Political Podcast.
The Kiss Kiss singer, who has recently rebranded herself as a conservative commentator, said: “I don’t understand why you have this, like, demonic little gremlin high priestess of climatism as the goddess in classrooms, Greta [Thunberg].” All the kids are all coming home with depression and anxiety.

“Why would you go to your music lesson or bother doing your homework or get out of your bed if you think we’re all going to be dead in five years anyway?” The mother-of-two also declared she has no intention of moving back to her Australian homeland, stating that the country is going “woke”.
She continued: “The Australia I grew up in was unreal. It was so fun and we didn’t seem to have all these problems … the woke stuff’s really gone big in Australia. Holly then went on to talk about “woke culture” and what kids learn at school.
She said: “I don’t think sexuality and children should be in the same sentence. I don’t think anyone’s sexuality is anyone’s business. You don’t know about mine. I don’t know about yours. Why would we?”
Holly, who is married to Nick Candy, was born down under but she also derives from Britain because of her mum.The singer currently has homes in London and the Cotswolds. Her scathing swipe didn’t stop there as she also shared her take on Victoria for being a “nanny state”, the Mail Online reports. The songstress added she still gets slapped with fines for not voting.
“The government will ‘fine you for breathing,'” she laughed. But Holly has no plans on moving back to Australia just yet, even if Labour wins the UK election.” She said: “The plan would be to stay and live where we love, which is here, I’m very patriotic to this place. My mother is from Southampton. My whole family is English. I don’t want to go anywhere. And Nick doesn’t want to go anywhere. We prefer to be in our country.”
