Iconic musician Jake E Lee ‘shot multiple times’ in ‘random attack’ while walking his dog

Iconic musician Jake E. Lee, who played guitar alongside Ozzy Osbourne, has been ‘shot multiple times’ in a random attack while walking his dog.

Lee’s rep disclosed that the terrifying incident occurred ‘at random’ on the streets of Las Vegas and Jake is now in intensive care. Known for his riffs alongside the Prince of Darkness during a five-year stint, Jake also played with other bands after Ozzy.

Jake was walking his dog when the ‘shooting’ unfolded. Police are now investigating and Lee’s representative said that “Lee is fully conscious and doing well in an intensive care unit at a Las Vegas hospital”.

They added: “Las Vegas authorities believe the shooting was completely random and occurred while Lee took his dog out for a walk in the early morning hours.

“As the incident is under police investigation, no further comments will be forthcoming. Lee and his family appreciate respecting their privacy at this time.”

The guitar hero played with Ozzy from 1982 to 87, stepping in for the late Randy Rhodes. After shredding for the legendary rocker, he played with Badlands and then created the Red Dragon Cartel back in 2013, reports the Mirror.

One fan said: “What has happened to our country?”

Another added: “Get well soon Jake” while a third said: “Wishing Jake all the best.”

And yet another admirer added: “Prayers to Jake E Lee for a speedy recovery.”

Jake bagged the gig playing alongside Ozzy after sending over some photos and video of his skills to Ozzy’s iconic wife and manager, Sharon.
