Rock legends Liam and Noel Gallagher have fuelled rumours of an Oasis reunion 15 years after their split.
The Mancunian brothers, renowned for their fiery feud over the decades, sent fans wild when they hinted an announcement will be made on Tuesday morning (August 27). Taking to X – formerly known as Twitter – they each shared a video showing the date “27.08.24” before the screen flickers to say “8am.”
The date and time are written in the style of the famous Oasis logo. The clip was also shared on the official Oasis X account.

The programme went on to suggest a series of factors that would add to the wow factor for a big reunion. Gemini predicts that this will include a series of surprise guests who have collaborated with them in the past and surprise covers of well-known songs.
The programme added that it’s also a “very real possibility” that the Gallagher brothers could still get into an argument on stage in front of their adoring fans. It added: “Liam and Noel Gallagher have a well-documented history of feuds and on-stage arguments, even during their time together in Oasis.
“Given their passionate personalities and tendency to clash, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them engage in heated exchanges, even during a reunion tour.” The AI programme went on to reassure fans that the brothers have managed to perform together without conflict in the past “albeit briefly.”
It went on: “It’s also worth noting that they have reunited and performed together in the past, albeit briefly. If they are able to maintain a professional relationship and focus on the music, a reunion tour could be a successful and memorable experience.”
It comes after industry insiders told the Sunday Times that the band are booked to play 10 nights at Wembley Stadium, smashing Taylor Swift’s eight-gig record set earlier this year. The rockers are also set to play at Manchester’s Heaton Park, while a headline slot at Glastonbury is reported to be in the works.
A source told the Mail on Sunday: “All the speculation about this reunion can get a bit tiresome. But there’s a genuine feeling that next summer’s Glastonbury will be too much of an attraction for Liam and Noel to turn down.
“They have been made aware of the headline slot that’s open for them next summer. Now it’s all down to them. It looks more do-able than it has been for years.” Liam, 51, and Noel, 57, have yet to officially speak on the rumours but Liam appeared to reference the gigs during his headlining set at Leeds Festival over the weekend.
He mused to the crowd: “It is very interesting, innit? It is a very interesting situation we’ve found ourselves in,” before he launched into a rendition of Oasis’ Half The World Away.
