Tommy Fury, fresh from his split with Molly-Mae Hague, has been facing a different kind of battle away from the boxing ring and reality TV drama.
The 25-year-old heartthrob, who juggles throwing punches with running his own YouTube channel, confessed he’s met his fiercest opponent yet not in the form of a heavyweight champ but an extra spicy chicken wing.
In a recent upload to his YouTube fans, Tommy took on the fiery challenge of devouring Manchester’s hottest chicken wings, despite admitting his low tolerance for spice. The situation heated up when he had to sign a waiver acknowledging the risk of death by chicken wing, leaving him visibly shaken.

The Love Island alum shared his trepidation with viewers, saying: “I’m more nervous to eat a chicken wing than I am to fight in front of 30,000 people. What has my life come to? I’m a guy who can’t handle spice and I really don’t know how this is going to go down.”
Kicking off his spicy adventure, Tommy said: “I’m gonna try the hottest wings in Manchester. They’re actually called the Death wings, and they’re at a place called The Shack, I believe, in Manchester. So we’re on the way there now. And just to put out there on how much I don’t like spice, I go to Nandos and I get Peri tamer. And sometimes the Peri sauce is a little bit hot for me on some days. So that’s what we’re dealing with.”
In shocking scenes, Tommy Fury got a stern warning from restaurant staff about the deadly risks of an eating challenge he was about to undertake, leaving him questioning: “Excuse me, just to clarify, who’s ever died? Sure, has anybody ever gone to the Warren infirmary?”
Tommy then faced the daunting task of signing a waiver form that covered potential “loss of life,” with the TV star telling his followers: “So guys, basically I have to sign a waiver that says, ‘It’s okay if central, loss of life happens’, and basically they’re not liable for anything.”
Despite acknowledging the stupidity of the situation “I could throw right down on the floor off a chicken wing right now, but it wouldn’t be there fault. It’s not a very smart move, is it?” Tommy bit the bullet and dived into the ultra-spicy chicken wings which had a kick stronger than pepper spray. The challenge soon turned sour as he was left wheezing and in tears, struggling after consuming barely one wing despite his initial bravado of managing three.
Elsewhere, Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy’s ex who he split from last month after five years together, made headlines with her own venture, dropping a brand new fashion collection named Maebe. With all eyes on her potential earnings boost, the influencer could be raking in millions more thanks to this canny business move.
