A well-known A-lister was forced to spend New Year’s Eve in hospital.
46-year-old Pink uploaded a picture of herself in a hospital bed sporting a white bandage around her neck with the message: “I want to say Happy New Year’s to everyone. I am so happy to say goodbye to the snake year and welcome in the horse,” referring to the Chinese zodiac calendar.
“I end the year giving reverence to, paying attention to and fixing my body. It may not be a fancy face lift, but I am getting two new shiny discs in my neck. A new scar, a new reminder that I appreciate this vessel that I have and use it for all it’s worth. Rock ‘n’ roll is a contact sport!”
While Pink was receiving treatment, her family were enjoying some snowboarding to celebrate the arrival of the New Year. Pink, whose real name is Alecia Moore, is married to motocross champion Carey Hart, 50, and they share two children – daughter Willow, 14, and son Jameson, nine, reports the Mirror.

She continued: “As I sit here by myself on New Year’s Eve in a hospital room while my family is happily snowboarding, I know that 2026 is going to be better because that is the choice that I have made. I hope and pray every person can make that wish, have that choice. I know that isn’t a reality for some.”
“I will work this year to help preserve the choices of others to make for themselves and their families and this very pursuit of happiness. Let’s do better for ourselves and for others.”

She ended her message by telling fans she wishes they “experience more joy than sorrow, more sunshine than rain, more love than hatred” and signed off: “Let’s shed that old snake skin and find our horsepower.”
This hospital visit hasn’t been Pink’s sole health scare last year. In September 2024 the star raised alarm bells when she posted an image of herself connected to an IV drip with the message: “When you go on vacation and have food and E.coli decides to move into your gut, you kill it with friends and daughters and red wine and a vitamin IV concoction.”
“Ahhh life and lemons and lemonade and great memories that I might remember.”
