The Traitors’ star speaks out after being axed from show admitting ‘I was useless’

Judy Wilson has spoken out about her time on The Traitors – in her first interview, the 60-year-old admitted she had no strategy while she was in the TV castle

The Traitors Judy Wilson has admitted she was useless on the show.

The 60-year-old was voted off in tonight’s show after failing to convince enough rivals she was a Faithful. Her exit came after a string of gaffes that made her look like a liar. Judy said: “I was there playing the game the best I could. Unfortunately, it wasn’t good enough and I knew I was going down.

“I didn’t have a strategy. I just thought, ‘There’s no point in changing myself… I’m just going to play the game the best I can play it and enjoy it and have some fun’. That’s what I did.”

Despite being the first player to get banished, Judy has no regrets.

Asked if she wishes she’d done anything differently, she said: “I don’t think so. I enjoyed exactly what I did.

“I’ve had an amazing time. It’s been incredible and the friendships that we’ve built up is incredible. It’s a unique situation that we’ve all been in together and I’ve loved every minute of it.”

Talking about her first impressions of the castle, Judy added: “It was incredible. I was pinching myself and thinking, ’Is this really happening?’

“It was just amazing. Everyone was lovely. Such a range of people, a really different mix but what we all had in common was that we were all nervous.

“I thought, ‘Let’s just take it step by step and see how it’s going to go’.”

Netty Österberg, 42, was also booted off the show after being murdered by the Traitors.

She said: “I didn’t have the time that I had hoped to have, but I think I’ve had the time I was meant to have.

“I’ve had the experience that it should have been for me, and I get to watch it as a viewer now, not knowing what’s going to come.”

Asked if she had any regrets, she said: “Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

“If I knew what was coming, I probably would have stayed a little bit quieter. But I don’t know if that would have stopped me being on that short list of names anyway. So, you can’t really think that way.”
