Paul Walker's daughter shares tragic tribute to dad seven years after his death

Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow has paid tribute to her father’s friendship with Vin Diesel, sharing a sweet selfie with the actor’s children.

The 21-year-old, who keeps a low profile on social media, expressed that the two clans were “family forever” after her father’s untimely death.

In the photo, Meadow could be seen smiling at the lens, with Pauline, 5, Similce, 12, and Vincent, 10 beaming in the background.

Fast and the Furious star Vin, 52, named little Pauline after his late pal Paul, in a longstanding tribute to their friendship.

Meadow tagged Vin in the photo, bringing the two families together in a sweet gesture.

The heartwarming reunion comes seven years after Paul’s death, which occurred when Meadow was just 15 years of age.

Aged 40, Paul was involved in a fatal car accident a charity event for his fund, Reach Out Worldwide, which had been established to aid the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

The actor was in the passenger seat of the car when it crashed into a lamppost, with the vehicle bursting into flames.

Meadow was Paul’s only child, born from his relationship with one-time girlfriend Rebecca Soteros.

Vin, who starred alongside Paul in seven Fast and the Furious films, became an uncle figure to Meadow over the years, recently sharing a sweet birthday message as she turned 21.

In November, he wrote: “I could say that I am so proud of the person you are becoming… but the truth is I have always been proud of you.

“Happy Birthday Meadow! I know it’s your 21st and you wanted to go big in Japan, but the family has a cake waiting for you when you get home, so hurry. Love you kid. Uncle Vin.”

In honour of Paul’s 46th birthday last year, the action star also branded him as his “brother,” adding that Meadow had inherited her father’s “heart”.

He said: “Normally today I would be planning how to embarrass you with a birthday cake. Haha. Instead, I reflect on how lucky I am to call you my brother.

“The tears never go away, but they change… from that of mourning to that of grace. We only hope to make you proud.

“Speaking of which, guess what message I woke up to… your daughter. Meadow sending me love on this day. Wow, she knows me so well. She has your heart. Happy birthday… it’s amazing, but somehow you continue to make the world a better place.”
