Stacey Solomon was left brimming with pride after her handiwork upgraded her “boring” wall with posh-looking decor for barely any money at all.
The Loose Women panellist joined her husband Joe Swash for a weekend DIY project to transform her dull-looking white wall into a classy neoclassical style.
The 30-year-old showed her fans on Instagram how she completed it by spending just £23 on some wooden picture frames and spray paint.
She explains in the clip: “The foam I tried was rubbish. I do not recommend it. It just peeled off the wall.”
First, she takes the cream-coloured wooden frames to the garden and gives them a layer of new coat by spraying them an off-white colour.

Then the couple mark a section on the wall and separate it with a strip of the decorative frames.
Having painted the lower section in a baby blue colour and letting it dry, Stacey and Joe start working on the measurements to make sure the frames are perfectly spaced out.
They hammer the frames one by one onto the wall and create four identical picture frames.

She wrote in the clip: “Measured, spirit levelled and nailed to the wall.”
The transformation has already elevated the room’s vibe and the blue and white contrast added a posh-looking, classy theme to the room in their mansion in Essex.
Feeling content with the quick result, Stacey said she was so proud of herself in the handiwork project.

“Ignore how grubby it is,” she explained.
“I need to wipe it all down but I’m off on the school run now so it’ll have to wait … I’m so proud of it though.”
She added that there’s more work left to do, including tidying up the skirting and swapping the top line.
But Stacey was happy for a £23 DIY job.
