Corrie's Carla Connor distracts fans as she wows in see-through black top

Coronation Street fans were distracted during Wednesday evening’s episode, as Carla Connor’s fashion sense caught their attention.

Carla, played by Alison King, hasn’t been seen on the cobbles for a few days, but made a welcome return as she chatted from behind the bar in the Rover’s Return.

Gary Windass (Mikey Frost) took a seat in the bar, only for Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) to arrive, discussing the deal they just landed at the factory.

While the business trio discussed their plans for the Underworld, viewers couldn’t help but take stock of Carla’s ensemble, as they praised her sense of style.

The Corrie barmaid looked radiant in a fitted black top, complete with sheer sleeves which featured a stripy embellishment.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “Carla’s clothes lately have been ‘heart emoji’.”

And a second penned: “Carla’s outfits have been stunning recently. Great choice of outfits.”

“Carla’s outfit does be poppin off as usual,” added a third.

Having sold a fresh batch of lingerie designs to a department store, Carla, Sarah, and Nina were in the mood for celebrating during this evening’s episode.

Putting her designs to paper, Nina dreamt up the creative new underwear range, while Sarah was responsible for managing the negotiations.

Explaining the business deal to Gary, Sarah said: “Well, we’ve just had the okay on some new designs, so it’s our first big department store order.”

Gesturing to Carla, she added: “It helps having this one back in the factory!”

However, Carla was quick to brush off the compliment, saying: “Honestly these two are the brains of the outfit.

“Donatella over there and you went straight to the customer, so you really put your neck on the line, didn’t you.”

Marking the occasion, the Underworld bosses then headed into the back of the bar, knocking back champagne to celebrate.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8pm on ITV.
