TOWIE star Mick Norcross was found dead at his home in Brentwood, Essex at the age of 57 today.
First and foremost a family man, Mick is survived by his son Kirk, and two grandchildren.
The businessman and entertainer grew his career gradually, working as a property developer throughout his life.
He then made the pivotal decision to develop the 15th Century pub The White Hart into the now-iconic club Sugar Hut, located on Brentwood high street.
As an Essex staple, the entrepreneur appeared on lots of episodes of The Only Way is Essex with his son Kirk.

The TOWIE gang were also regularly spotted clinking champagne glasses and partying the night away at the huge Asian and baroque-themed establishment Sugar Hut.
But despite becoming a fan-favourite on the TV series, Mick made the pivotal decision to step away from filming in 2013.
He explained that he felt taking part in the show was damaging to his nightclub’s brand.

Speaking to The Sun, he said at the time: “My club is an upmarket venue where people come to drink champagne and feel spoiled.
“All these rows they keep filming don’t show the club in a good light.
“I’m worried it’s putting people off coming, which is the last thing I want,”Mick added.

Mick was also known for his romances with TOWIE co-stars Chloe Sims and Maria Fowler.
The show’s legendary star Gemma Collins also developed a crush on the nightclub owner, and the two briefly dated.
She even baked Mick an apple pie and left it on his doorstep in scenes which aired on the reality show.
Tributes have poured in for the beloved star as the news of his death broke Thursday, with costar Mario Falcone saying he was “the perfect gentleman” and he is “thankful I got the privilege of having you in my life”.
