Nikki Grahame's iconic 'who is she?' Big Brother rant that propelled her to fame

Nikki Grahame may not have won Big Brother when she entered the Channel 4 compound in 2006, but she easily became the most iconic contestant of the series.

The feisty star was an immediate hit with viewers thanks to her TV meltdowns over everything from the air con to her other housemates’ antics.

But no rant is quite as well known or loved as Nikki’s takedown of golden housemate Susie Verrico.

In one of Big Brother’s many twists, Susie won her place on the show after finding a golden ticket halfway through the series.

She was given special privileges upon entry to the BB house, but also had to nominate someone for eviction.

Susie opted for Nikki, which enraged the starlet beyond measure.

Visibly upset, Nikki ran to the Diary Room to give Big Brother a piece of her mind.

Nikki hit out: “I am feeling very venomous and angry.

“How dare she vote for me. She doesn’t even know me. She doesn’t even know who I am.

“What I am like. She has never even spoken to me. She wouldn’t even give me a chance. She wouldn’t even look at me. What have I done?”

Huffing and puffing, Nikki continued: “I would have actually taken this if it had come from the other housemates to be honest.

“Because I took it last week and actually if they had voted for me again this week then fair does. Because I moan and whinge.

“But she… does not… no me!

“She has just come in here… marched in here in her golden gown and ousted me out and it is not fair.”

Nikki then tried to leave the Diary Room but concerned she needed time to cool down, Big Brother kept the door locked.

Furious she could be heard shouting: “Let me out. I am too angry to talk. I want to smash someone’s head in.”

After returning to the chair, a very animated Nikki went on to deliver her now -conic line: “Who is she who is she? Who is she?”

Gesturing with her hands dramatically, she added: “Where did you find her?”

“I can feel the venom drawing out of me as I breathe.

“I hate her. I tell you now. I am going find it very difficult to be pleasant to it for the rest of this week I am afraid. I don’t even want to look at it.”

On Saturday afternoon it was announced that Nikki had tragically died after a long battle with anorexia.

She was just 38 years old and had been receiving medical treatment after crowdfunding helped pay for her to receive around-the clock help.

Her death was confirmed on a GoFundMe page which had been set up earlier this year.

A statement read: “It is with great sadness, we have to let you know that our dear friend Nikki passed away in the early hours of Friday 9th April.

“It breaks our hearts to know that someone who is so precious was taken from us at such a young age.

“Nikki not only touched the lives of millions of people, but also her friends and family who will miss her immensely.

“We would like to request privacy at this difficult time, while Nikki’s friends and family process the sad news.”
