Kourtney Kardashian is said to have believed it was “important” to have Elvis give her away during her wedding to Travis Barker.
Reports recently emerged suggesting that The Kardashians star and Blink-182 drummer Travis had tied the knot hours after their loved up appearance at The Grammy Awards in Las Vegas.
The happy couple became engaged to be married during a lavish proposal at a California hotel and have since packed on the PDA during red carpet events, most recently The Grammys and The Oscars.
While they have remained tight-lipped on their recent nuptials, the Daily Star can confirm that initial reports of them saying “I Do” are true.
Speaking to the Daily Star, One Love Wedding Chapel owner Marty Frierson explained that despite Kourtney and Travis Barker being in Las Vegas for the Grammys, he didn’t know who they were.
He explained: “It took place in my wedding chapel, One Love Wedding Chapel and they got married by Elvis officiate.
“They called me at 12.30 to confirm that I was open, they said ‘we’re bringing a celebrity by but we can’t tell you who it is’, they wanted to make sure I could get an Elvis.
“So I got an Elvis, they paid online, they came here at 1.45am, Elvis walked her down the aisle and sang a few songs.”
The businessman added: “They danced, they kissed, they walked out and threw the bouquet.
“I didn’t know who it was, the limo pulled up but the guy didn’t tell us who it was but they came in, took a few pictures, I wasn’t allowed to take pictures in my chapel, I gave them some space.
“They seemed madly in love, there was a lot of kissing and hugging, a lot of that.”
Drummer Travis once said “forever wasn’t long enough” with his beau Kourtney.
Kourtney and Travis are said to have met over six years ago when Kourt’s younger sister, Khloé Kardashian moved onto the same gated road as the Blink-182 drummer in Calabasas, California.
Travis and his ex-wife Shanna have also featured in several episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians as their son, Landon, 17, is pals with Kourt’s eldest son, Mason.
Their romance is Kourtney’s first public relationship following her split from her long-term boyfriend, Scott Disick, with who she split from in 2015 following a 12-year relationship.
