Strictly Come Dancing host Shirley Ballas has revealed she was forced to go knickerless during her audition for the show after getting her knickers wet.
The ballroom star was appearing on show spin-off It Takes Two when she was asked by a fan to recall her most embarrassing memory.
Shirley stunned viewers by telling a hilarious story about an unfortunate mishap with her underwear.

She revealed: “I have an embarrassing moment, when I first did my audition for Strictly and I had flown over and I had a bad back and they said we must put some ice on your back Shirley.
“So they did and the ice melted and my knickers got wet, so I actually did my audition pantyless!
“I had a lovely long dress and hair and make up done with no knickers – water trickling down my back into everywhere.
“So it was a very interesting and embarrassing moment I have to be honest.”
Shocked host Janette Manrara and Shirley’s fellow guest Anton Du Beke both burst into laughter along with the rest of the studio audience, with Janette saying: “Well it worked, whatever you did was fine!”
Anton was then asked to share his most embarrassing memory, to which he replied: “nothing can top that!”
One fan took to Twitter to comment on the shocking revelation: “Things I did not want to hear whilst eating my tea… Shirley Ballas telling us how her knickers were wet… #ItTakesTwo #Strictly.”
Shirley wrote a glowing tribute to her friend Len Goodman, after he retired from Dancing with the Stars last week.
Shirley succeeded Len as head judge on Strictly following his retirement from that show at the end of 2016, but he continued on the Dancing with the Stars panel alongside the likes of Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Julianne Hough.
After Len announced his farewell to the ballroom during the semi-finals of the Disney+ series, Shirley posted a Twitter thread dedicated to him.
She said in part: “You are, and in my book will always be, a king. Your constructive criticism in helping celebrities improve along with your humour is irreplaceable. An authentic dancer, judge and adjudicator from the head to toe.
“My heart is full of so many memories with you over the years and I will treasure those forever. I’m sad you are leaving DWTS USA but we gain you back here in UK.”
