BRIT Awards host Roman Kemp had a cheeky go at Christian Horner’s recent drama during the big show.
Spice Girl Geri Horner and her husband, who is the boss of Red Bull’s racing team, had a bit of trouble when it was leaked that he’d been sending flirty texts to someone he works with. But after a good look into it, Red Bull said Christian didn’t do anything wrong and he’s keeping his top job.
At the BRITS, Roman couldn’t help but make a joke about all the fuss while he was on stage. He joked: “It’s busier here than at the Red Bull’s press office.”

Since the news broke, there’s been lots of talk that Geri and Christian are having marriage troubles because of all this. However, they have since showed everyone they’re still together and happy.
Putting an end to gossip, the pair stepped out on Saturday (March 2), as they attended Bahrain Grand Prix together. They seemed as if nothing had happened as they held hands and even sharing a kiss for all to see.
Meanwhile, this years trio of hosts Maya Jama, Clara Amfo and Roman Kemp couldn’t hide their excitement about teaming up for the BRIT Awards. Clara gushed: “Hosting The BRITs is a bucket list job, I’m so very honoured and excited for this year’s show.
“Throughout my career, I’ve been so lucky to witness the growth of this year’s nominees and performers and I know it’s gonna be another special one. I can’t wait to hit the stage with Maya and Roman to celebrate these amazing artists at The O2! “.
Maya chimed in: “I’m really excited to be hosting The BRIT Awards alongside Clara and Roman. I’ve worked alongside the incredible team at the BRITs for years now and it’s something I always watched, and wanted to be a part of, growing up – so it’s amazing to be on the stage this year hosting it! It’s always one of the best nights of the year for me, and a real celebration of British music, culture, and talent.”
Roman also gushed: “This is a real pinch me moment! Hosting the BRIT Awards – what an honour. I remember watching the BRITs on TV when I was growing up so to be asked to host this year’s awards, is a dream come true. It’s going to be a privilege to share the stage with so many talented artists and to celebrate the incredible achievements of all the nominees and winners this year. See you there.”
The BRIT Awards faced a storm of controversy last year when no female artists were shortlisted for Artist of the Year a title that Harry Styles ended up winning. However, this year that was turned on it’s head when RAYE swooped up the trophy.
Not only did the chart topper win Artist of the Year but also took home Album of the Year. Taking to the stage to accept her award Raye was in absolutely in floods of tears. Maya Jama told her: “This is the type of year we’ll look back on when we’re 80 and say’ remember when you cleared up at BRITs.”
