Peter Andre’s fans have pleaded with him not to make a “mistake” after he finally shared his newborn’s name.
The Mysterious Girl singer and his NHS doctor wife ,Emily Andre, 34, had been keeping fans in suspense before announcing their daughter’s name on Thursday (May 2) – just in time for the legal deadline following her birth last month.
Emily revealed the baby’s name on Instagram, sharing an adorable photo of her newborn daughter and captioning it: “It’s taken a while but after lots of deliberation we’ve finally decided. Arabella Rose Andrea. Thank you to the lovely Sarah Deakin @curation_studio for the beautiful photos!”

Peter also made an announcement on his account, with fans quickly urging the father-of-five not to do one thing regarding his youngest daughter’s name. “I think you’ve chosen a beautiful name @dr_emily_official,” Peter wrote, captioning a picture of baby Arabella. “Arabella Rose Andrea. I LOVE it. and I love her… and you of course.”

“Peter that’s a beautiful name for a beautiful little girl,” one fan commented on his Instagram post. “I read it as Arrabiatta and honestly thought you named her after a pasta dish. Had to read it 3 times. I need my bed,” another joked, reports the Mirror.
“She will get Bella for short and I love it. X,” a third fan predicted, whilst a fourth pleaded: “It’s a nice name but I hope you don’t shorten it. It would be a shame if you did.”
One Instagram user chimed in, supporting the no-shortening stance: “My great granddaughter is called Arabella she’s nearly 8 she always insists on Arabella and tells us off if we call her Ari which we do sometimes but she hates it too. No one has ever called her Bella.”

Peter and Emily had been in a bit of a pickle over naming their new bundle of joy, who made her grand entrance into the world on April 2. The couple, already juggling the joys and challenges of parenting, found themselves at a crossroads with choosing a name for their latest addition.
Pete, who has two other children with ex-wife Katie Price, took to Instagram last month to announce the arrival of his daughter, saying: “Baby has been spoilt with cuddles from Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo who are all in love with their new little sister. As parents, we couldn’t be happier. Only thing is… She has no name yet. Help!”

Not long after, Peter updated his fans with a heartfelt post: “The love I have for our baby is one thing. The love I have for Emily is another love altogether. What an incredible mum she is and what a truly beautiful gift she has given us. We all love bubba so much. And she STILL has no name.”
In a previous chat with Wales Online, the singer said: “I would [choose a Welsh name] because someone else suggested Irish as well. There are similarities, maybe not completely, but even with Carys and Seren, there are a couple of Irish names that were mentioned to me that are similar to that. It’s giving me this thinking outside the box.”
Peter also shared some of the names that they have considered. “I loved Olivia, Charlotte and Athena, but Emily didn’t get too excited about those, so they’re off the table,” he said.
