Bond babe Gemma Arterton wows BBC fans with racy romps as nun in Black Narcissus

Gemma Arterton has left fans stunned after playing racy nun Sister Clodagh in new BBC drama Black Narcissus.

Gemma takes on the the lead role in the three-part show in which her character is a convent leader.

Despite taking a vow to God, Sister Clodagh appears unable to resist temptation.

During episodes one and two of the programme, she is ordered to move to Nepal to work in a school high up in the mountains.

Despite her best intentions, she finds it hard to control her sexual desires.

As well as a series of graphic flashbacks to her former colourful sex life, viewers have seen Sister Clodagh battle to keep her urges for school handyman Mr Dean in check.

During Tuesday’s episode, Gemma’s character went as far as whipping herself to try and stop herse;f remembering her former sex life.

The racy scenes have left many viewers stunned.

One fan told The Sun: “I was stunned. I wasn’t expecting to see a nun having erotic fantasies in a show going out just after Christmas.”

Another added on Twitter: “Sex. Nuns. Mountains. Death. Not so much a film as a wish list.”

“If Mr Dean and Sister Clodagh would have sex in Black Narcissus, that would be great, can’t stand the sexual tension between them,” a third continued.

The racy series is a remake of the 1947 film of the same name.

The show is set to conclude tonight, December 29, with viewers set to find out if Sister Clodagh find gives in to temptation.

She is also set to to clash with Sister Ruth who also has her eye on Mr Dean, despite her own vow to the church.

While Black Narcissus viewers were shocked by the explicit scenes, Gemma is no stranger to getting her kit off on camera.

The brunette beauty famously romped with Daniel Craig’s James Bond in 2008 hit Quantum of Solace.

She played the role of MI6 agent Strawberry Fields.

Black Narcissus concludes Tuesday, BBC One, 9pm.
