Dancing On Ice star Denise Van Outen moves pro-partner Matt Evers into her home

Denise Van Outen has gone to extreme lengths to ensure that her Dancing On Ice chances aren’t jeopardised by the current coronavirus pandemic.

Not wanting to breach any government rules, the 46-year-old wasn’t taking any chances when it came to the competition and therefore decided to move her professional partner into her family home.

The West End bombshell, who was partnered with ITV’s longstanding figure skater Matt Evers, offered up her spare bedroom at her house in Chelmsford Essex.

Matt has since joined Denise’s household, which includes daughter Betsy, 10, and her Gogglebox partner Eddie Boxshall, 46, in a bid to comply with the rules.

Although, Denise and Matt share a close-knit bond already, The Masked Singer UK star insisted that she would have moved in any professional that she happened to be coupled with on the show.

In spite of their great relationship, she would have offered up her home to anyone of the cast who was lucky enough to pair with her.

Speaking to OK! magazine in a tell-all interview, she explained: “Before I knew who my partner was, I’d already said that if it comes to it, whoever I get partnered with could lockdown with me and stay in our spare room.”

When chatting about her new lodger and their friendship, she said: I adore Matt. I”m so happy.”

The Only Way Is Essex narrator, hasn’t found the entire experience easy and described her self as an amateur on the ice.

It seems she is the person who would use assistance at the rink in form of a penguin aid, to help her maintain her balance.

She added: “I don’t think people understand and appreciate how hard it is.

“I’ve got to work on my balance. I’m one of those people who has a penguin to keep me upright when I go ice-skating.

“But I can’t be in front of Torvill and Dean on a penguin! Honestly, it’s so much harder than dancing.”

Denise has her work cut out for her as she’s also busy with other work, performing live at Proud at London Embankment.

The singer recently wowed her 477,000 followers on Instagram as she took to her official platform to share some steamy behind-the-scenes action to drum up sales prior to the UK lockdown.
