The Mummy Diaries star Billie Shepherd, otherwise know as Faiers, has revealed that Dancing on Ice is her biggest challenge to date and nerves are starting to kick in ahead of her debut.
The 30-year-old former TOWIE star suffered a horror fall on the rink recently and admitted to “crying for half an hour” and thinks her body went into shock following the incident.
However, she’s on the mend and is finally starting to enjoy the experience of being part of the ITV ice-skating show.
Speaking to Daily Star and other press at a Superdrug Zoom event, the reality star explained: “Training is going really well and I’m really enjoying it now.
“I’m not scared anymore and starting to learn my first routine.
“It’s so challenging and I’m so far out of my comfort zone but it’s such an amazing opportunity and I’m really enjoying it.
“I’ve literally never done anything like this. I’ve never performed or done any live shows so I am really nervous.

She added: “You do think ‘what if this happens’ or ‘what is that happens’ and there are so many people watching, but you’ve got to get on with it and do it.”
The TV personality went on to reveal that her husband Greg Shephard, 35, and their two children Nelly, six, and three-year-old Arthur can’t wait to see her perform to the nation.
“Nelly and Arthur are both so excited and they talk about it all the time,” she said.
“I train Monday to Friday at the moment so they always see me when I go and come back from training and they always ask ‘How’s ice skating, Mummy?’

“I show them little videos and it was funny the other day, I did a trick with my dancing partner Mark [Hanretty] and he flipped me backwards and Arthur was like ‘Mummy, you’re doing backflips that’s so dangerous’
“Their reaction to seeing it is so sweet. We literally talk about it every day.”
Before the blonde bombshell makes her Dancing on Ice debut in January, Billie has to prepare for Christmas and she’s teamed up with Superdrug to help sort out some gifts for her famous family.
She explained: “When I shop for my family I always like to get a stocking filler as well as a main gift.

“Greg wants a new coat this year but he’s into his skincare at the minute so I’ve got him the NIVEA MEN Everyday Fresh Regime Skincare Set from Superdrug as a stocking filler.
“The children are both easily pleased and are the easiest to buy for.
“Nelly likes anything girly and Arthur loves Avengers. They like all the little bits and pieces.”
“Samantha [Faiers] is quite hard to buy for. I keep asking her and she says she doesn’t know.
“I tend to get her bits and bobs and she’s always happy.”
Dishing the dirt on how she avoids festive stress, Billie revealed that she takes some pen and paper to bed with her to make notes.
She said: “I’m much better at seeing something on a pad than on my phone.
“I’ve started making lists to make sure I don’t forget to buy anyone.
“Christmas is definitely all about the family.”
Dancing on Ice is expected to return to ITV in January 2021
