Hollyoaks fans already know that 2020 is going to be a dramatic year in Chester.
Bosses at the Channel 4 soap released a trailer earlier this month teasing the explosive storylines that will air over the next 12 months.
One of the big storylines that took centre stage in 2019 was the Who Shot Mercedes? Whodunit mystery.
From flashback episodes to false imprisonment, fans had to wait weeks to find out the real identity of the person responsible for gunning down Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe).

Viewers were gobsmacked when it was revealed that Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) were behind the attempted murder.
The cunning pair are yet to face the consequences over their actions but is time running out for Grace and James?
In exclusive odds shared with Daily Star Online, bookmakers Coral have Grace to confess to shooting Mercedes McQueen and go to jail odds on at 4-5.
Coral spokesperson Harry Aitkenhead said: “The twists and turns come thick and fast on Hollyoaks and it’s almost impossible to predict what might happen this year.

“We think Grace’s secret is likely to catch up with her eventually in 2020 and she could well be set for a stint behind bars.”
Hollyoaks aired a flash-forward episode on New Years Eve which gave fans a glimpse at New Years Eve 2020.
The end of the hour-long special ended with one of the Hollyoaks residents in a body bag leaving viewers guessing which character will meet a grisly end this December.
Coral have James Nightingale to be revealed as the mystery person in the body bag at 4-1.

Fans have seen the businessman spiral out of control in recent episodes as he struggles with the guilt of shooting Mercedes.
Harry added: “Liam is up to no good but it remains to be seen just quite how far he is prepared to go.”
Will Liam and Grace face the ultimate punishment?
