Jesy Nelson unfollows Little Mix boss hours after announcing she's quit band

Jesy Nelson’s Instagram account has unfollowed Little Mix manager Samantha Cox less than 24 hours after she announced she’s quit the band, The Sun reported.

The 29-year-old singer shocked the world on Monday after she revealed she’s decided to leave the world’s biggest girl group after nine years.

She logged into her official Instagram account to share a heartbreaking statement with her 7.3 million followers.

Jesy revealed that being in the chart-topping band over the past nine years had “took a toll” on her mental health.

Eagled-eyed Little Mix fans have since spotted that Jesy has removed Little Mix’s manager Samantha Cox from the list of people she follows.

The pop star now only follows 71 people on the photo-sharing site and Sam, who has looked after Little Mix since they won The X factor back in 2011, is not one of them.

Sam still follows Jesy’s Instagram account as well as Little Mix’s remaining members Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

The trio also follow back Sam, who has worked for Modest! Management since 2010, managing the likes of JLS, Olly Murs, Leona Lewis and One Direction.

One fan penned: “The way the only person Jesy unfollowed is little mix’ manager.”

Another tweeted: “I know that maybe Jesy is managing her insta account anymore, but the fact she ‘unfollowed’ sam coxy so fast..”

Sam and Jesy have posed for several snaps together which have been shared on Instagram over the last few years.

Little Mix confirmed on November 17 that Jesy would be taking an extended break from the band.

Fans raised concerns for Jesy when she was missing from the latter stages of the band’s BBC talent show Little Mix:The Search, both the performances and recorded interviews.

Further worries were voiced by supporters when she was also missing from the group’s appearance on Children in Need, with Jade Perrie and Leigh-Anne appearing as a trio for a sketch with Dick and Dom.

Jess confirmed on Monday that she’s left the band for good after weeks of speculation.

Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne have since revealed they will continue as a trio.
