Carl Woods has opened up about being targeted by nasty trolls who told him he should be “shot” for dating Katie Price.
The 31-year-old former Love Island contestant has known Katie for years, but the pair were set up by mutual friends in June of this year.
Katie and Carl have since called each other their “soulmate” and even have tattoos of one another’s’ face on their arms.
However, the Essex native has revealed he’s been bombarded with vile messages ever since he went public with his relationship with Katie six months ago.
Speaking to The Sun, Carl said: “I’ve been trolled to f*** and had the most horrific things inboxed to me and said about me, just because I got myself a girlfriend.

“I’ve been told I should have been shot. I recently lost a family member and I was told they would be ashamed of me if they could see I was dating Katie. That is horrific.”
The horrifying revelation comes after Katie shared an intimate photo from their relationship, wowing her fans when she stripped topless for a bedtime snap with Carl.
She looked gorgeous as they both gazed into each other’s eyes for the intimate photograph, which was shared on Instagram in view of her 2.3million followers.
Carl also appeared to be topless as he put his hand over Katie’s wrist, right next to the new tattoo she had done of his face.

Katie made it clear to her fans just how happy she is with her new boyfriend as she shared a gushing caption underneath the picture.
She wrote: “No matter where we are together our conversations and connection we have for each other is totally something I’ve never experienced!
“Sooo lunch @sheeshchigwell turned out being my life.”
Katie and Carl have already been on several glamorous holidays together, and he has been a pillar of support after she broke both of her feet in a freak accident in the summer.
The former glamour model has previously hinted that it won’t be long before she and Carl start their family, as she revealed her desire to have a sixth child.
Katie moved into Carl’s home in October and lives there with her son Harvey, 18.
