Lorraine calls Matt Lucas a 'naughty boy' as he admits he isn't wearing pants

Lorraine Kelly branded Matt Lucas a “naughty boy” after learning he’d gone commando during an appearance on her show.

Chatting with TV expert Ria Hebden on Friday’s show, Lorraine was left reeling when she heard Matt’s “commando confession”.

Sharing a teaser from an interview on The Jonathan Ross Show, Ria revealed Matt told the Brit presenter about going pant-less on her namesake show.

The Bake Off presenter admitted to ditching his boxers when he appeared on Lorraine earlier this year, as he chatted about his song Baked Potato via video call.

The interview had taken place during the first lockdown in April, with Matt appearing from his shoulders upwards in a red T-shirt and AirPods.

Lorraine was left giggling over the revelation, saying: “Matt Lucas has been a very naughty boy, hasn’t he?”

Ria explained: “He has. So tomorrow, on the Jonathan Ross show, he confesses that he actually wasn’t wearing any pants while talking to you Lorraine on this show. So very naughty.”

Lorraine replied: “Very much so – I wish I’d known.”

They then shared a clip from the show, which showed the GBBO presenter sitting on an armchair, dishing the dirt on his video call exploits.

He said: “I went on Lorraine’s show, and I didn’t even have pants on. No one could see it. Why not, live a little. I went full commando.”

Making it clear there was no shame in going commando, the Scottish star then added: “I bet he’s not alone!

“Lot’s of people are doing that though, aren’t they? They’re just the top half.”

Ria laughed, and said: “Well, I’ve got pants on!”

Making it clear she was in the same camp, Lorraine agreed, saying: “Me too.”

Lorraine airs on weekdays at 9am on ITV.
