Love Actually's Sam is now 30 and all grown up with a stunning girlfriend

Love Actually actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster has left fans speechless with his ageless appearance as he walked the red carpet alongside his stunning girlfriend.

It has been almost 20 years since the actor played Liam Neeson’s adorable stepson Sam in the cult Christmas film, released in 2003.

He starred alongside legends including Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley and Alan Rickman as he tried to win the heart of American classmate Joanna by learning to play the drums.

After being thrust into the spotlight, he went on to have parts in Nanny McPhee and Game of Thrones, as well as more recently playing the character of Benny in Netflix show The Queen’s Gambit.

Just last week, the now-30-year-old stepped out on the red carpet looking dapper alongside girlfriend Gzi Wisdom as the pair attended the premiere of Stardust.

His appearance also comes weeks after he was interviewed on BBC the One Show where fans couldn’t help but comment on his baby face.

One wrote: “Thomas Brodie-Sangster is on the One Show, damn he still looks so young. The man doesn’t age.”

Another even joked that he must “swim in the fountain of youth” as they struggled to believe the TV star was 30.

A second wrote: “How is Thomas Brodie-Sangster 30 years old? and still looking 16!”

And a third said: “Binge-watched Queen’s Gambit and first takeway is omg I didn’t expect Thomas Brodie-Sangster to be so grown up now me looking at those cute little forehead wrinkles.”

A fourth commented: “Oh my gosh I love @netflix ’s The Queen’s Gambit so much. And to see Thomas Brodie-Sangster, the young boy from Love Actually now all grown up on there, was a treat.”

But his youthful looks don’t always come as a good thing, as Thomas revealed it can cause issues when it comes to buying booze.

He told a story about a time he tried to buy a beer in Ottawa, Canada, where the legal drinking age is 18.

Thomas explained: “I was there to get my visa, so I sent my passport off that day and stumbled – well I didn’t stumble I walked – back to my hotel room, via a lovely looking bar.

“I thought, ‘Oh great, I’ll pop in and have a nice beer, warm myself up a bit’. I go in there and I realise my ID is gone, because I had just given it away.

“But I really wanted a beer and they all looked really nice so I, I sat on this for a while, and then I did eventually IMDB myself, showed the guy and said this is proof. This is my picture, this is my name and this is my age.”

However, the bar staff didn’t accept his IMDB page as a form of ID and refused to serve him a pint.

He admitted the staff had a “giggle” over his gesture.

“He took it back and showed all his mates who kind of had a giggle about it but said, ‘No I still can’t serve you’.”
