Michael Jackson ’s pet chimp Bubbles was booted out of a studio after trashing it while the star was recording hit song Beat It.
The primate even threw his excrement against the walls during the 1982 session at iconic Westlake Studios in West Hollywood, where Jacko recorded album Thriller.
Recalling the chaos, studio musician and Toto lead singer Steve Lukather told Ultimate Guitar: “He stopped bringing [Bubbles] because he tore apart the vocal booth and threw s*** against the wall.
“That monkey just ripped that f***ing booth to shreds. They banned him from the studio. But Michael was cool, man, he was a pro. He’d sing his a** off.”

Jacko – who died in 2009, aged 50 – kept Bubbles on his Neverland ranch and he slept in a crib in the star’s bedroom.
Jacko claimed the chimp helped him with household chores and sat with him at the table for dinner.
Bubbles is believed to still be alive at Florida’s Center for Great Apes.
It’s claimed, Bubbles, bought for $65,000 by Jackson, hates cameras so much if he sees someone with one he’ll often spit or hurl sand at them.

The world famous chimp spends most of his days chewing on leaves.
Refuge bosses have had to warn people not approach him with cameras or risk suffering the wrath of the 13st, 4ft alpha male.
The sanctuary said last year: “Bubbles does not like cameras. Even when his caregivers try to take a photo, he will turn his back if he sees a camera.
“He occasionally will spit water at people when annoyed about cameras and is able to throw sand with amazing accuracy.”
