Heavy D’s Celebrity Big Brother co-star Stephen Bear paid tribute to him today (Wednesday) following the tragic news of his passing.
Stephen, 30, took part in the 18th series of the reality TV show in 2016 alongside the Storage Hunters star.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Stephen shared a snap of him and Heavy D dressed as schoolboys in the Borehamwood bungalow.
He wrote alongside it: “I’m gutted. The funniest and most genuine person you would ever meet. Always laughing and had such a kind heart.
“Always wanted to make sure everyone was ok and when you was down he would come over make sure you’re ok.

“Had the pleasure to live with you but now I feel was there something I could of done.
“It’s always the real ones that leave too early. RIP my brother. See you soon Heavy D,” Stephen added.
Stephen’s 1.6million followers were quick to comment on the post and share their condolences.
“Sorry for your loss,” one person wrote, while another added: “RIP lost too soon.”

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Heavy D’s pal Nick Nevern confirmed the news of his death.
“I’m very shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of my friend Heavy D,” he wrote.
“You lived your life the way u wanted to and f**k anyone who didn’t like it! You always brought a smile to my face bro and lifted any room you were in.
No more details about his death were available at present.
The television personality continued to be active on social media up until almost two weeks ago and posted his last tweet on November 14.
Heavy D shot to fame after appearing as a main buyer on the UK version of Storage Hunters, which airs on the digital channel Dave.
He took part in the 18th series of Celebrity Big Brother in August 2016 alongside the likes of Samantha Fox, Marnie Simpson and Ricky Norwood.
