Steven Spielberg’s adopted daughter Mikaela has spoke about how much the porn industry has helped her.
The 24-year-old sex worker has spoken out to defend her choice of career in the adult entertainment industry and has insisted that online porn has helped her to overcome depression, anxiety and substance abuse.
Mikaela says she believes that her mental health struggles and substance abuse could have left her “dead within a year,” and she is sure her porn career has helped her battle her demons.
Mikaela spoke out in February of this year to share that she was a porn star just days before she was arrested on a domestic violence charge against her ex-fiancé Chuck Pankow, 51, which was later dismissed.
Months later, Mikaela found herself on the brink of homelessness due to struggling with her finances – something her porn career helped her sort out.
Mikaela began her porn career making custom videos but recently joined adult content platform ManyVids, where she sells solo pay-per-clips content.
She films the videos from her home in Nashville, Tennessee.

It’s been reported that Steven Spielberg, 73, and his wife Kate Clapshaw, 66, are embarrassed of her career choices, Mikaela insisted to the Daily Beast that they were supportive.
She said: “I’m really enjoying work, and it’s giving me a whole new life-affirming way to be.”
She previously told The Sun that her parents were “expecting it” because she has “always been a little bit neurotic”.
She told the publication: “My parents – despite what people have written – aren’t embarrassed, they were actually kind of expecting it to be my career… some sort of outsider art… or taboo art, because they’ve always known that I was a little bit neurotic.
“That’s not to say all performers are neurotic… just the kind of performer I am.
“They’ve always known that whatever I wanted to do in life I probably was going to do it whether they liked it or not.”
