Strictly Come Dancing ‘s Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice certainly got tongues wagging about speculation of a romance during their time on the BBC favourite.
Continuing to fuel further rumours the Good Morning Britain news reader took to Instagram to pen an emotional tribute to her professional dance partner as the show came to a close.
The political correspondent didn’t hold back her feelings as she opened up about “passion” and also “connection”.
Ranvir shared the last image taken of herself and Giovanni both beaming smiles to the camera in a warm and cosy embrace.
Nestled firmly in the arms of the ballroom expert their close-knit bond certainly shone through.

Sad that the show had came to end but beaming with pride at how far she’d come, Ranvir explained: “Just thought I’d share with you my last official Strictly photo with my partner Giovanni … as I get ready for bed before hosting Lorraine tomorrow.
“What can I say that hasn’t already been said?
“An extraordinary experience, with a beautiful passionate dancer, that has no doubt seen us both grow… so so proud of the dances we performed.”

She went on: “Thank you so much for willing us on and hope looking back you have some memorable moments as you watched from home, just as we do from dancing in that magical studio for you. Connection is everything.”
The couple, who finished in fifth place on the programme, caused quite a stir with their fiery chemistry with their bond becoming a talking point of this year’s series.
It didn’t help that Ranvir had suggested prior to her stint on the show that she would be up for being hit by the Strictly curse because she was single.

As fate would have it, Giovanni also found himself single after things didn’t quite pan out between him and Pussycat Dolls songstress Ashley Roberts, with the pair parting ways for good in January.
With both Ranvir and Giovanni free to mingle it was inevitable that the rumour mill would fire up with speculation, however nobody could have predicted just how close the pair became as the weeks went on.
It even came to light that the mum-of-one had changed her WhatsApp picture to a snapshot of herself and her pro-partner, with the pair exchanging late night messages.
Her Strictly co-star Jamie Laing also said he is captivated by their “chemistry”, indicating that he thought Giovanni did “fancy” Ranvir.
Later the ITV bombshell faced tough questioning on the morning programme when Piers Morgan quizzed her about her relationship with Giovanni.
Ranvir remained defiant that they were just friends and that it was all put on for TV, in a bid to ensure that their performances were perceived as believable.
