Union J sar JJ Hamblett has revealed he proposed to his girlfriend – and was thrilled when she said yes.
The 32-year-old former X Factor star shared his happy news via Instagram on Christmas Eve.
JJ shared a photo of himself alongside his beaming bride-to-be, Becca Medlin, along with a caption that revealed all about their big news.
The singer wrote: “2020 ain’t that bad after all…she said YES. Merry Christmas” alongside a diamond ring emoji.

Fans and followers were quick to congratulate the happy couple with one writing: “Congratulations you gorgeous couple,” and another typing: “Congrats, omg, merry Christmas, all love.”
Meanwhile, wife-to-be Becca relived the moment she said yes to her own Instagram followers.
She wrote: “I said… YES! Well actually I nodded frantically and ugly cried.

Back in October, JJ explained his deepening love for Becca after meeting earlier in the year.
The former boyband hunk shared a snap of himself with his beloved inside a London hotel during a lockdown staycation.

He gushed: “Although 2020 hasn’t been the greatest of years for everyone there are a couple of reasons it’s made me smile…
“Not only have I met this one but we have been working extremely hard on a new project which is coming to the market very soon which I am certain you will all love just as much as we do.
“So it was nice to have a couple of days to unwind, explore London and find this beautiful hotel.”
