Vernon Kay is unrecognisable as Tess Daly posts sweet snap from 20 years ago

Tess Daly has shared an adorably sweet and rare throwback snap of herself and husband Vernon Kay.

The pair have began dating 20 years ago and married 16 years ago – going on to welcome and raise two daughters together.

The Strictly Come Dancing host took to her official Instagram today to wish her husband a happy 20th anniversary since they became an item.

Tess shared a sweet snap of her and Vernon, who is currently starring on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, from the very first Valentines Day that they shared and celebrated together.

In the throwback pic, the pair looked as if they hadn’t aged a day as Vernon sported his jet black hair and Tess blonde.

Tess could be seen wearing a risky nude halter-top as Vernon opted for a T-shirt with a denim jacket over it.

She simply captioned the post: “Happy 20th Valentines @vernonkay.”

The pair wed in 2003 and share two daughters, Phoebe, 15, and Phoebe, 10.

Both stars started their showbiz careers by being models and then turned to TV presenting and ended up meeting at a BBC Christmas party.

Tess previously revealed that the first attraction was instant and powerful.

“It was all quite immediate, really, because we instantly had such a blast together,” she told Fabulous magazine back in 2013.

“I couldn’t imagine having more fun with anyone else.

“It was pretty explosive, I tell you.”

Vernon has been telling sweet stories of the pair’s time together during his stint on the current series of I’m A Celebrity.

In a candid admission Vernon previously revealed that one of the happiest moments in his life was when he asked Tess to marry him in 2002.

Vernon popped the question at her parents’ house in Stockport.
