Ant and Dec were forced to censor Nicole Scherzinger and the rest of The Pussycat Dolls during their racy performance on tonight’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
Dec Donnelly and Ant McPartlin, both 44, were back for the hotly anticipated new series of the show after it took a two year hiatus.
The Pussycat dolls were there to perform in the End Of The Show Show, but Ant and Dec were forced to censor the racy performance.
In the comedy segment, the girls were wearing barely-there skintight outfits, and Ant and Dec ran down to the stage to attempt to cover their dignity while the singer’s continues to perform.
They used a censor button and censor signs.

When that didn’t work, Ant and Dec removed their clothes in a bid to throw the garments over the girl band.
Twitter went into meltdown after the performance, with fans showering the show with compliments for the hilarious segment.
One said: “Loved tonight’s show, as ever! The Pussycat Dolls bit was hilarious.”
While another gushed: “Great Show, it’s great to see The Pussycat Dolls look just as sexy as ever. Great to see Ant & Dec’s hilarious involvement to. God I’ve missed this show. Roll on next week.”

A third wrote: “Soooooooo good to have Ant and Dec back on screen tonight!!!! Just snorted wine out my nose laughing at all the “censor” stuff on Saturday Night Takeaway. Absolutely HILARIOUS.”
Dec suffered an awkward moment with the Pussycat Dolls earlier in the show.
They were in the girl band’s dressing room, with the joke being they were lost in the new studios.

The presenting duo walked into the band’s room, and as Dec said hello, he suffered an awkward blunder.
He was left red-faced as he nearly fell over a chair.
Dec became flustered before saying: “that was smooth…”
