The finest actors of the small screen look set to be showered with BAFTAs after taking part in a virtual nominees photoshoot with acclaimed photographer, Rankin.
The 2020 awards will be held ‘virtually’ due to the ongoing coronavius pandemic – but are ploughing ahead to prove the old adage that the show must, indeed, go on.
Actors from gritty dramas like Line of Duty to soap stars will battle out to win awards at the 66th British Academy Television Awards – due to be held on Friday 31 July 2020.
Many of the nominees have taken part in a playful photoshoot organised by BAFTA and with the photographer Rankin to commemorate the nominations announcement on Thursday.
Suranne Jones – who is up for the best actress gong for her role as Anne Lister in the HBO/BBC One drama, Gentleman Jack – looked relaxed as she posed in a sharp white suit while posing in her garden shed.

Best supporting actress hopeful Helen Behan – nominated for her role in Channel 4’s The Virtues as Anna – welcomed the photographer in to her home where she laughed on the stairs while wearing a green gown.
Joe Absolom looked sharp in a suit as he posed on a sofa after being nominated int he best supporting actor category for his role in the ITV drama A Confession where he played Christopher Halliwell.
While Stephen Graham looked to be jumping for joy – to an impressive height – for his best actor award nomination of his role as Joseph in The Virtues.
Samanta Morton appeared to celebrate her best actress nomination for her role as Kirsty in the Channel 4 show I Am Kirsty as Kirsty by stripping topless and posing pensively in a well wallpapered room.
While Jasmine Jobson – star of the Netflix series Top Boy where she plays Jaq – puckered up for a kiss as she is nominated for best supporting actress.
Actor Callum Turner already has a winning smile and will be hoping to scoop the best actor gong for his role as Shaun Amery in the BBC One drama The Capture.
Will Sharpe struck a pose in a suit and is up for the best supporting actor award for his role in the BBC’s Giri/Haji as Rodney.
Former Oscar winner Glenda Jackson looked relaxed in a garden as she was nominated for best actress for her role as Maud in the BBC’s Elizabeth is Missing.
Best male comedy performance nominee Jamie Demetriou poured himself a glass of tea to celebrate his nomination for playing Stath in the Channel 4 show Stath Lets Flats.
He is up against Youssef Kerkour for his role as Sami in Channel 4’s Home and Ncuti Gatwa for his role as Eric Offing in the Netflix show Sex Education.

Best female comedy performance Gbemisola Ikumelo posed in a window after being nominated for her performance in the BBC Three comedy show Famalam as Various characters.
Line of Duty star Rochenda Sandall poses in a yellow suit, while best supporting actress Naomi Ackie – who is nominated for her role in The End of the F***ing World as Bonnie – pops in a pink suit.
While Guz Khan looked at risk of being soaked by his kids despite being nominated for best male comedy performance in the BBC’s Man Like Mobeen as Mobeen.

HBO/Sky Atlantic’s Chernobyl stands to take home the most awards after being nominated in 14 categories.
