If at first you don’t succeed pick yourself up and try again, or eleven more times in the case of Britain’s Got Talent hopeful David Watson.
The Britain’s Got Talent regular has tried and failed 10 times to impress the judges over the show’s history – each time being knocked back by the judges.
But despite being branded ‘rubbish’ by Amanda Holden and buzzed off by Alesha Dixon in 2019, the kooky wannabe is back again for one final try.
Daily Star Online can reveal that the unlucky magician, who had become a staple on spin-off show Britain’s Got More Talent before the show was axed, appeared at the auditions earlier this year in a bid to make it through to the live finals.
A source told Daily Star Online: “David has tried ten times to get through on BGT ever since series one and it’s turned into a running joke with the judges and crew.
“Each time he’s come back with a new act but got nowhere.

“David Walliams always plays along with the joke and Simon thinks it’s hilarious but Amanda and Alesha don’t find it funny anymore.
“Each time he comes back they are exasperated – last year Amanda bluntly told him his act was ‘rubbish’.”
The insider added: “He was always championed by Stephen Mulhern on More Talent but despite the spin-off not returning for this year Watson David wanted another roll of the dice.
“It seems to be a case of wearing the judges down, one year at a time.”
While Britain’s Got More Talent has been ditched, the ITV2 spin-off has been replaced with online only show Britain’s Got Talent: Unseen.
The new platform will kick off this weekend exclusively on ITV Hub.
