Cordero’s wife, Amanda Kloots has been keeping fans updated about her husband’s condition while he is treated at the famous Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre.
Taking to her Instagram story, the former Radio City Rockette said: “He made it through the surgery which is really big because obviously his body’s pretty weak.
“They’re taking him back to the room to recover and rest, so hopefully he’ll just kind of relax and rest.”
His initial surgery was to aid “blood flow issues coming down to his foot”, with Amanda saying: “We don’t know what the damage will be. We don’t know if he’ll be able to walk again.”
On Saturday, the celebrity personal trainer revealed that they had received the “difficult news” that blood thinners given to Nick had caused internal bleeding in his intestines.
She said: “We took him off the blood thinners, but that again was going to cause the clotting in the right leg.”
Earlier in the month, she revealed: “He lost consciousness, he lost his pulse and they had to resuscitate him. It was very scary. They had a very hard time getting him back.”
A GoFundMe page has been set up by close friends of the actor in hopes of raising the funds to help with medical bills.
It’s currently £10,000 away from its £280,000 target.
