Caroline Flack’s problems were “right under our noses”, according to pal Jordan Stephens.
The ex-Rizzle Kicks star says the 40-year-old could have been saved from suicide if people had stepped in for her.
Jordan said: “It destroyed me. Absolutely heartbroken.
“Of course, gossip is gossip and I’m sure there’s some logic to it or some kind of biological reality of how people deal with stuff or the responsibility you have to yourself as like an alpha male or female… I don’t know.
“All I do know is that Caroline was doing her absolute best and the way in which she was treated up to (her death) was awful and contributed to that.”
And the movie added: “It’s another one of those things that looked like it was right under everyone’s nose.”
He and Love Island host Caroline were regularly spotted enjoying nights out at events over the years.
He said: “She was a kind person, she genuinely was a lovely person.
“She had her flaws like everyone, but she needed help and she didn’t get it.”
It comes as Caroline’s boyfriend Lewis Burton earlier shared a romantic photo of them together leaning into kiss, captioned: “I miss you.”
He said after Caroline’s funeral last month: “I love and miss you so much. I never thought that one day I will never be able to see you again.
“I wake up and think you’re going to be laying next to me. It just doesn’t seem real.”
