Actor Dimitri Diatchenko has been found dead inside his Florida residence at the age of 52.
The Chernobyl Diaries star, who played Yuri in the popular 2012 movie, was found dead at his home on Wednesday, TMZ reported.
The site said that his family believe he died late on Monday or early Tuesday and his “cause of death is pending awaiting the medical examiner’s investigation”, the American media outlet has claimed.
“Dimitri’s family says they had not heard from him in a few days, so they called police Wednesday for a wellness check, and that’s when his body was discovered,” TMZ reported.

His nearest and dearest were reportedly blindsided by Diatchenko’s sudden passing as he was fit and healthy.
Dimitri’s brother reportedly told the website that his death had nothing to do with coronavirus.
There were also reportedly no signs of foul play.
The actor was born in 1968 in San Francisco to a Ukranian father and Swedish mother.
Hollywood actor Dimitri attended Newton North High School in Massachusetts and graduated from Florida State University in 1996.
His first role saw him star alongside Demi Moore in GI Jane, which was directed by Ridley Scott.
Dimitri had a number of acting credits to his name, including Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Sons of Anarchy, Bones and How I Met Your Mother.
But undoubtedly his most famous role was Ukranian tour guide Yuri in Chernobyl Diaries.
He also did voice work for the video game Medal of Honor: European Assault, as well as Vulko in 2017’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
