EastEnders star Maisie Smith has taken to social media to share a number of heartfelt tributes after her dog Benny died.
Maisie, 18, who is better known as Tiffany Butcher on the BBC show, shared the tragic news, with fans, urging “this is your daily reminder to cuddle your pets”.
In the form of a TikTok video, the teen captured some adorable snippets of her pooch, which she described as her best friend, celebrating their time together.
Sharing her devastation she wrote: “Meet Benny. He was the bravest, the sleepiest, the kindest the goodest, the silliest, the handsomest big brother and best friend.

“This is your daily reminder to cuddle your pets.. RIP my angel.
“Benny Smith September 2007 – 1st June 2020.”
Her loving post was later followed up with a hilarious image of Benny and enjoying a relaxing snooze with his sibling in a huge bed, tucked under the duvet together.

Maisie who first stepped onto the EastEnder’s set as a child, at just age seven, has been pipped for stardom now that she has reached age 18.
The actress, who is multi-talent, often shares video’s to her official Instagram grid, showcasing her incredible dancing and singing skills.

It’s no wonder, that the teen is currently the bookies favourite to appear on the BBC hit, Strictly Come Dancing when the programme next returns to screens, following the global pandemic.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Strictly chiefs love getting soap stars on board and Maisie Smith may well be the next to take to the dance floor.”
Maisie made an unforgettable appearance on Strictly’s Children in Need, blowing the the judges away with her talent and taking the win.
Speaking about the experience at the end of her journey, she said: “I had the most amazing week, I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful team by my side, it’s just been amazing.”
