EastEnders star Shona McGarty has been spotted without her engagement ring for the first time since announcing her breakup.
The 28-year-old actress, who plays Whitney Dean on the BBC soap, split from her fiancé Ryan Harris last year.
In the photo, Shona could be seen leaning her hand through her car window at a Drive-Thru, reaching for a bottle of water.
Her ring finger was visibly bare in the snap, making it clear she has removed her engagement ring since the split.
Ryan popped the question on Shona’s twenty-sixth birthday, planting an engagement ring in the top tier of her cake.

In a recent interview, Shona revealed their breakup was amicable, as the relationship had “fizzled out” over time.
Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, she said: “I’ve actually been single for a year and a bit.
“I just didn’t want to say anything. We were together for six years. When it ended it wasn’t a bad break-up, it was amicable.
“We both came to the decision that, actually, this isn’t what we really want. It fizzled out and we weren’t the same people.”

Playing Whitney since 2008, Shona’s schedule is more chock-a-block than ever with EastEnders acting commitments at the moment.
Whitney is currently facing trial for the murder of her stalker Leo King (Tom Wells) and has resorted to a hunger protest in a bid to get legal representation.
With her career thriving, Shona explained she has no time for dating, and instead wants to focus on herself.

She told the publication: “I’ve learned that I’m alright, I’m happy by myself and I don’t need a man.
“I’m enjoying getting to know myself. I’m just being me and not caring about what people think about me any more.”
EastEnders airs on air on BBC1 on Monday at 8pm, Tuesday at 7.30pm and Thursday at 7.30pm and Friday at 8pm.
