EastEnders’ Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) decides it is time to leave A;bert Square for good after being pushed to the brink by yet more devastating news.
EastEnders spoilers have revealed that Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) will urge Whitney to get back to normal after her recent ordeal, but things are about to get a lot worse.
She will soon learn that Leo’s death has been talked about online by his mum Michaela, and she has brought Whitney’s name into her post.
Whitney turned herself in for killing Leo, but is claiming self-defence as she had previously reported his stalking to them before his death.
On the market, Whitney realises that everyone is staring at her, and despite Sonia and Chantelle (Jessica Plummer) desperately trying to keep the posts a secret, she realises what Michaela has said about her.

A devastated Whitney then talks to Max Branning, (Jake Wood) who opens up about his harrowing year behind bars, after he was wrongfully imprisoned for killing Bobby Beale.
Unable to face the thought of prison, Whitney becomes determined to take thing into her own hands.
Her plan soon becomes clear as she hunts down her passport – she is planning on leaving Walford and fleeing the country.

Is she going to leave the soap for good to escape prison?
Shona told Metro.co.uk: “Things are definitely going to get worse for Whitney.
“It’s going to be another tough few weeks ahead. But Whit is strong, a survivor.”
She discussed how much she had loved playing Whitney, as she added: “I enjoy playing every scene as Whitney on the show.

“But I have thoroughly enjoyed playing Whitney’s journey through her hunger strike in prison. When I read the script for the first time, I cried. It was truly moving writing.”
Looks like this could be the end for Whitney…
