Elon Musk and Grimes are proud parents to a baby boy, welcoming little X Æ A-12 into the world earlier today.
The 48-year-old Tesla founder broke the news over Twitter, sharing a snap of the newborn with the caption “X Æ A-12 Musk”.
X Æ A-12 is the couple’s first child together, though Elon has five other children from a previous marriage – twins Griffin and Xavier and triplets Damian, Saxon and Kai.
Though Elon’s fans were thrilled the delivery had been successful, they couldn’t help but struggle to pronounce the newborn’s name.
Some were convinced the name was pronounced as “X Ash Archangel” in reference to a Lockheed aircraft that is nicknamed Archangel.

On Twitter, one fan mused: “How do you pronounce that even like you can’t just go “come here X AE A-12″ like is it pronounced John or smth you can’t just hide this.”
A second added: “Never mind how X Æ A-12 is pronounced, the real question is does he need an art therapist.”
“Can one enlighten me on how you would actually pronounce X Æ A-12,” chimed a third.

Ignoring the confusion over social media, Elon also shared a tongue-in-cheek snap of the baby with tattoos edited over his face.
Songstress Grimes, 32, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, announced she was expecting a child back in January, opening up about impending motherhood.
She said: “I feel like I was woefully ill-prepared (because) I (don’t know) if pregnancy is as visible or discussed as it should be.

“I just didn’t (really) understand what I was getting into. It’s been good too, but it makes working a lot harder. Good at writing and having lots of wild ideas (though), but anything physical is hard.
“I’m also way more emo and less capable of bravery in the face of haters online and stuff haha.”
