Father Ted co-creator Graham Lineham has been permanently banned from Twitter following comments he made about Transgender people.
Graham, who also helped write and create The IT Crowd, has once again been the face of controversy for his views on the trans community.
Back in 2018, the Irish writer received a warning from police for harassment after a transgender activist said he was “trolling” her.
And now he has come under fire once again for his views. Starting with him losing his blue tick verification last week after he accused an LGBTQ+ group of “grooming”.
However, a Twitter spokesperson announced his blue tick was taken away by “accident”.

But it appears Twitter wasn’t messing about as it decided to instead of just taking his blue tick away to completely remove him from the site.
Graham’s account, which was under @Glinner, now comes up with a message saying: “Account suspended.
“Twitter suspends accounts which violate Twitter rules.”

It comes after he allegedly tweeted “men aren’t women tho”.
He reportedly made the tweet in response to a post by the Women’s Institute, which had wished a happy Pride to all of its trans members.
The writer then appeared to post on Mumsnet’s “feminism chat” thread to complain.

He wrote: “I’ve finally been suspended from Twitter and I have a feeling they’re either going to ban me or just take my verified tick.
“I’ve submitted an appeal with Twitter and the Better Business Bureau but I thought I’d post here too so people knew what was going on.
“Recently, I keep getting locked out of my account and forced to delete tweets to get back in.”
The bans comes after Katie Hopkins has now been permanently banned from the social media site Twitter after sharing tweets containing “hateful conduct”.
The 44-year-old former LBC host made a living from sharing her opinions controversial opinions online, often ending with her going viral.
But it appears Twitter had had enough as it banned Katie from it’s site last week.
