Good Morning Britain’s Piers Morgan accused Susanna Reid of being “flirtatious” during their first encounter, as they took a trip down memory lane.
The GMB stars played back a clip from their first meeting 15 years ago, when Susanna interviewed Piers on a panel show.
Watching the clip back, Piers said: “People are very amused by our first-ever appearance together, our first meeting.
“How many people have their first meeting captured on camera? Literally millions of people.”
Wearing a crisp navy suit, with his shirt unbuttoned underneath, Piers could be seen chatting away to Susanna in the dated footage.
Meanwhile. Susana modelled a white blazer with a red top, facing towards him on the sofa as she quizzed the then-editor about current affairs.

Reading into Susanna’s body language in the clip, he said: “I’m very taken by your voice and also your slightly flirtatious demeanour, you’re sort of leaning in, your arm over the sofa.”
He added: “She starts off all sort of formal…”
Susanna refused to comment on her alleged “flirtatious” behaviour, as she chimed: “I’m staying mute!”
Praising his own looks, Piers added: “There’s lots of people saying I look like young Roger Moore, a young Colin Firth.”

Over on Twitter, viewers were floored by Piers’ transformation over the years, complimenting his youthful good looks in the throwback footage.
One said: “I’ve always thought he looks like Colin Firth.”
A second compared him to a Brit actor, saying: “Frank Spencer’s body double!”

While Good Morning Britain’s official account shared a “dashing” snap of the encounter, saying: “A dashing Piers Morgan the first time he met Susanna Reid in a TV studio.”
