Jada Pinkett Smith forced to deny Will Smith 'gave permission' to her 'affair'

Jada Pinkett Smith has been forced to deny that her husband Will Smith “gave permission” for her “years-long affair” with August Alsina.

Th 48-year-old actress wasn’t having any of it when claims begun circulating online after August alleged that the couple have an “open marriage”.

August, 27, who is a singer, formed a bond with the Smith family back in 2015after he was introduced to them by Jada’s son, Jaden.

When the family went on holiday in 2016 to Hawaii August even joined them, and even attended the 2017 BET Awards with Jaden.

In response to a Page Six article, where the headline read, ” August Alsina claims Will Smith sanctioned affair with Jada Pinkett Smith”, Jada’s representatives denied it.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Will, 51, has also denied the claims and said they are “wrong”.

While talking to radio host Angela Yee, August claimed: “I actually sat down with Will [Smith] and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership … he gave me his blessing.”

Going into detail, August added: “I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her.

“I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it — so much so to the point that I can die right now and be okay with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.”

The star continued: “And I really loved a person, I experienced that and I know what that feels like — and some people never get that in this lifetime.

“I know that I am completely blessed and this conversation is difficult because it is so much, that it would be hard for people to understand but — once it starts to affect me and my livelihood — I have to speak up about my truth.”

The tale of the Smith’s started when Jada and Will met in 1994 and went on to get engaged two years later.

In 1999, they welcomed their first child, Jaden, and then in 2000 they had their second, a daughter, called Willow.
