Joe Jonas has revealed the one condition that actress Sophie Turner gave him at the start of their relationship.
Speaking on The Late Late Show with James Corden via a video link from his home, the Whatta Man Gotta Do hitmaker claimed that the Game of Thrones actress would only date him if he promised to watch the Harry Potter film franchise.
Joe and Sophie began dating in 2016 after being introduced by a mutual friend, before the pair became engaged in 2017.
They married in a Las Vegas ceremony in May last year hours after the Billboard Music Awards.

Joking with James, the singer said: “Sophie, she said, ‘Look, if we’re going to get married…’ and it was actually, ‘If you’re going to date me, you have to watch the Harry Potters.’
“Because every Christmas, for those of you that are watching that don’t know, every Christmas in the UK they just stream and play Harry Potter, all of them.”
He later went on to reveal that he “fell in love” with the franchise, based on JK Rowling’s books, and insisted that Sophie should binge-watch the Lord of The Rings blockbusters as their pair isolate during the lockdown.

He said: “And I was like, ‘Well, look, my rule is that you have to watch Lord of the Rings.’
“So we’ve been binge-watching Lord of the Rings during this time and building the Legos that go with the movies, which is quite fun.”
After being asked how the pair are spending their time, the 30-year-old singer said that had been building “plenty of Legos”.

“We’ve done three Lord of the Rings Legos, we’ve done Hogwarts, the castle, which is like 7,000 pieces, the Batmobile, and Stranger Things. So we’re running out of options at this point,” he said.
Joe later claimed that Sophie is “the talented one when it comes to Legos”.
The pair have been flaunting their impressive Lego skills in TikTok videos.
