Line Of Duty season six is well underway after filming resumed last month following five-month hiatus due to the coronavirus lockdown.
But, eagle-eyed fans reckon they spotted a major clue about the upcoming series.
Creator of the hit BBC police drama Jed Mercurio took to social media to give fans a much-needed update as cast members Vicky McClure, Martin Compston and Adrian Dunbar took a break from filming scenes in Belfast.
The snaps posted on Twitter show the cast in the middle of what appears to be a dramatic raid, with DI Kate Fleming [Vicky], DS Steve Arnott [Martin] and Superintendent Ted Hastings [Adrian] all dressed in official uniform with bullet-proof vests, with Kate holding a handgun.
Another snap posted by Jed showed the three main cast members laughing while wearing matching face coverings on the streets of the Northern Ireland capital city.

Proving that spirits are still high on the set despite social distancing guidelines, a third picture showed a cheeky Vicky sticking her tongue out while pointing her gun at Martin who was looking in the other direction.
Local residents had also gathered round to witness the excitement.
Captioning his post, Jed wrote: “#LineofDuty6 Another great week of filming in Belfast.”

The snap which has been liked almost 12,000 times by fans was instantly flooded with comments.
But it was Steve’s police uniform which caught the attention of eagle-eyed fans.
After zooming in on his shoulder pads, one fan noticed that his symbolic three strips – showing his Sargeant status had vanished.

They commented: “Stevie boy demoted to PC?”
A second was left bewildered and commented: “Or Undercover?”
The latest instalment will see Kelly Macdonald take on the role of Detective Chief Inspector Davidson, an opponent to the anti-corruption cops in AC12.
Speaking about the casting, Jed said: “We’re honoured that Kelly Macdonald will join Martin, Vicky and Adrian in series six of Line Of Duty.
“DCI Joanne Davidson will prove the most enigmatic adversary AC-12 have ever faced.”
During filming, boss Simon Heath said that the cast and crew have closely followed all government guidelines.
