Lorraine Kelly’s interview with Kimberley Walsh took an awkward turn today as the singer and actress was “cut off” during the ITV chat.
The 38-year-old Girls Aloud star was on the show discussing role in the brand new musical, Sleepless: A Musical Romance, which is based on the movie Sleepless in Seattle.
During the interview, Lorraine asked Kimberley if Girls Aloud would ever perform another gig together, but as Kimberley spoke, her camera completely froze.
However, their conversation was quickly cut short in the savage on-air gaffe, leaving Lorraine to tell viewers what Kimberley had wanted to say.
She said: “Kimberley was about to say that they’re doing a performance of Sleepless the musical for NHS on 27th July.”

Kimberley mentioned that she has stayed in touch with her former bandmates during lockdown.
She remarked she’s spoken to Nicola a lot, and said: “As soon as the lockdown resistance was down we were round Cheryl’s in her garden.”
Yesterday’s instalment of GMB with Lorraine saw the beloved host joined by former This Morning presenter Fern Britton.
They struggled to hold back their fury after learning people were defecating on the beaches along the south coast this week.

Shaking her head, Lorraine hinted at the unsavoury antics by explaining public toilets are often closed due to coronavirus.
Speaking via video link from her home, a clearly annoyed Fern exclaimed: “I am getting a bit irate of all the rubbish being left behind.
“We are braced for the 4th of July [when pubs and bars open].
“It is not that we want people to stay away but they need to be respectful.

“You may not say it but I will… during the May Bank Holiday there were people literally defecating in the sand dunes.”
The television star continued: “I understand people get really caught out but clear up after yourself.
“You would clear up after your dogs so have some bags and clear yourself.
“When he public loos are open it is bad enough as people stuff nappies down them and they over flow.
“I understand the frustration but if you do get caught out please take a bag.”
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
