Lorraine Kelly was left red-faced this morning as a guest brought up her famous television clash with US businesswoman Jennifer Arcuri.
Lip-sync star Meggie Foster chatted to the Scottish television presenter about her newfound fame as a TikTok sensation.
The actress and voice artist has spent coronavirus lockdown producing comical videos in which she mocks politicians from across the political spectrum , as well as royals and reality stars.
Since her first TikTok video on March 26, Meggie’s spoofs have earned over 12,000 likes, building on her Twitter following of 47,000.
Meggie, whose clips have been watched by millions of viewers, has also impersonated Lorraine herself, and the clip was replayed on today’s show.
The moment Meggie recreated was Lorraine’s famous showdown with Jennifer Arcuri.
Speaking about the infamous clash, a red-faced Lorraine said: “I remember that moment well.”
After an interview on Good Morning Britain in November, Ms Arcuri was challenged by Lorraine, who presents the following show.
“What’s the point of you coming on TV to clear the air and then you don’t say anything?” Lorraine asked her during the handover between the two programmes.
It is alleged that Ms Arcuri received favourable treatment during Mr Johnson’s time as mayor of London due to their friendship, which he denies.
Lorraine suggested she had not properly answered the questions from GMB hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid.
“I believe I said a few things,” Ms Arcuri responded.
“What is it you’re looking for that I should say?”

“Well you didn’t answer any of the questions that were put to you, and I don’t really see the point of you coming on, to be honest,” Lorraine replied.
The clip was quickly uploaded online and ITV legend Lorraine began trending on social media.
Lorraine, 60, went on to tell Meggie that she “loved” her impression of her.
“Ah I thought what you did with me was hilarious,” She gushed.
Lorraine also welcomed Coronation Street actor Rob Mallard and television presenter Helen Skelton on today’s show.
