Love Island's Connor denies split with Sophie as he says they'll move in together

Love Island star Connor Durman has insisted that he and co-star Sophie Piper are still going strong, despite the duo rarely appearing together on social media.

The coffee bean salesman even went as far as saying that they will “definitely” move in together in the future, but they’re taking things slowly at the moment.

Connor said: “We’re just keeping things quiet at the moment. We’re both happy with how things are going.

“It’s so intense in the villa, it’s nice to do things naturally in the real world when you’re out.”

He said that they don’t want to “jump ahead” and take things too quickly.

While the former islander confirmed the duo aren’t yet “exclusive”, he said that he isn’t talking to anyone else and he’s “pretty sure” that Rochelle Humes’ sister Sophie isn’t either.

The perma-tanned lad has high hopes for their relationship too, explaining he thinks things could get “serious” if they continue the way they’re going.

In fact, he added to The Sun Online: “In the future we definitely would live together, but we’ve not spoken about it because we’ve only been out of the villa a month or so.”

Sophie and Connor were both original islanders during the first winter series earlier this year.

They were coupled up from the get-go, but Connor was dumped from the island early on, with Sophie struggling to find a connection with anyone else afterwards.

Eventually, she was dumped from the island too and the hot couple picked up where they’d left off.

Now it seems they could be one of the series’ success stories, thanks to keeping their romance out of the public eye and just going at their own pace.

The first ever winter series was won by Paige Turley and Finn Tapp, who beat Siannise Fudge and Luke Trotman in the finale.

Jess Gale and Ched Uzor, and Luke Mabbot and Demi Jones also made it to the final four couples.
