Love Island's Paige Turley had 'unknown' duet with ex-boyfriend Lewis Capaldi

Budding pop princess Paige Turley already has a superstar duet under her belt, Daily Star can reveal.

The Love Island winner, 22, has told us she sang with Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi years ago when they were dating.

She said: “We performed in college together.”

But even though Paige is now carving out a career in music too, fans are unlikely to see them back together.

She added: “I’m not sure how he would feel about getting involved with a dance track!”

Paige rose to fame on Love Island this year

Paige first revealed her plans to go into music in the Daily Star Sunday in March.

Since then she’s landed a big-money deal with New State Records and last week her debut single was released.

It is a cover of Artful Dodger hit Movin’ Too Fast.

Scottish beauty Paige is now ready to go global – just like her ex Lewis, 23.

She said: “I am so excited about having a single out. This is something I could have only dreamed of when I was younger and now it has come true.

“It would be a total dream to release music internationally. And I’d love to play Coachella and Glastonbury. They are both huge festivals and I’ve always dreamed of attending.”

Paige shot to fame on this year’s Love Island, where viewers voted for her and boyfriend Finn Tapp, 20, to win.
She is determined to use her pro le to make it as a singer after years of knock-backs.

Paige is now set to go back into the studio and added: “I’d love to be bringing original material to the table next.”

Paige has been working as a singer and songwriter for several years, performing in pubs and clubs in her native Scotland, and she also competed on ITV show Britain’s Got Talent in 2012.

The blonde bombshell showed off her impressive vocals during hser stay in the famous Love Island villa earlier this year as she performed a rendition of Robyn S’ classic ‘Show Me Love’.

Paige bagged the £50,000 top prize alongside her new boyfriend, beating favourites Siânnise Fudge and Luke Trotman, back in February in the first ever winter edition of Love Island in South Africa.

We can’t wait to hear more music from Paige.
